HUSH...

Hush, Big boys don't cry. Unless, they've just had there heart ripped out by this lovely lil vixen! Well, I've finished another small piece for a show down at Rodney Raines Gallery Twenty Two, Charlotte NC. The show is called "Black Eyes & Broken Hearts" and will open this Saturday February 4th.  Carlos East & myself will actually be in attendance at the show. So keep an eye out for us. I've kept the last few pieces I've done, either on the smaller side, or simpler side. I find that the instant gratification aspect is quite high, and I like that. Plus, like I said IM tattooing full time. Or well full time for me, 4 days a week, and painting 6 or 7. IM calling her "Hush. She's 5,1/2x7,3/4 on I believe maple panel. I do enjoy painting on the wood, but there is something abut it that leaves a little to be desired for me. I cant quite put my finger on it. In person they look fantastic. But for reproduction purposes, there a bitch to get just right. The images here were snapped from my IPhone. and thats alright as IM just looking to post here. But now IM off to the shop to scan her. And well IM keeping my fingers crossed. This will most likely be my last piece for the super secret project we've been working on here. I've been informed by Carlos that this monster is its getting a bit bigger than we'd first decided upon. So, my next couple of pieces will just have to wait till the next one. Now off to Hope, and my painting studio for some more work. And don't forget the show this Saturday 2/4/2012 at Twenty Two Charlotte NC!
